Game of Thrones Goes Street

By | Samantha Bergeson

Game of Thrones— the addictive Sunday night cult hit–is launching a fashion collection. Yes, you read that right. The HBO series unveiled the “Rep the Realm” micro-collection featuring streetwear designers like Billionaire Boy’s Club, ALIFE, and 40s & Shorties.

Overall, the line will showcase seven designers to commemorate the seven seasons of Game of Thrones. Each “Rep the Realm” installment will also include a behind-the-scenes video showing the designers’ process in creating the line. Limited quantities for the products are available, and fans will have to compete online to win the goods.

The first designer to kick off the collection is Anwar Carrots. New Jersey-born Carrots founded streetwear brand Peas & Carrots International in 2007, and frequently draws inspiration from music industry style icons. His “Rep the Realm” pieces included a unique sketch of Emilia Clarke’s character, available on a tote bag or t-shirt.

Check out the collection, and stay tuned for more designer releases. Let the battles for merchandise begin!
