Gucci Mane, with his new slim look to fit his latest tour “TrapGod,” is performing on April 9 at Terminal 5 in New York City. Terminal 5 is an iconic concert venue in Hell’s Kitchen, hosting artists such as The New Pornographers and Travi$ Scott.
Gucci Mane, born as Radric Delantic Davis, hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Credited as one of the founders of trap music with his 2005 debut album “Trap House
,” Gucci has gone on to release dozens of mixtapes and albums. Gucci also famously premiered his acting career with “Spring Breakers,” successfully carrying a lead role as a competing drug dealer. His 2014 gun possession incarceration didn’t even stop him from working, resulting in a $1.3 million mixtape profit from behind bars. In addition to his prison millions, Gucci also credits jail to his shocking 75-pound weight loss. He is continuing to move forward with a more holistic view, telling Billboard magazine
out “humbles” him. “I used to live a life of excess, greed and gluttony. Now I’ve learned to
challenge myself–to get up every day and push myself to live a healthier lifestyle.”
